/ RESEARCH WORKSPACE

Make room for
family stories.

Tracing Guatemala is a private workspace designed to help family-history researchers organize cases, research notes, and source material with clarity and care.

/ THE IDEA

A workspace that gets out of the way.

Family-history research involves careful notes, fragmented sources, multiple cases, and decisions that take time. Tracing Guatemala aims to bring those pieces together, without losing the researcher's judgment or the context behind each discovery.

This is a public information page about the project. It does not provide access to private research records or client information.

Built around the researcher's day.

01 /

Cases

Keep research objectives, progress, and case details organized.

02 /

Notebook

Bring notes and source references into a coherent workflow.

03 /

Control

Local hosting, reviewed access, and clear data boundaries.

Access stays intentional.

Tracing Guatemala is designed for a small number of explicitly approved users. The application itself is hosted privately and is not a public sign-up service.

Google Sign-In is being evaluated as an easier way to verify identity. If enabled, signing in with Google will not automatically grant access: the application will separately check whether the account is approved.

Private application: The existence of this public page does not mean the research application or its database is accessible on the public internet.

Research deserves discretion.

The public site contains product information only. The privately hosted application is designed to keep genealogy research in a separate environment with restricted access.

Read the draft Tracing Guatemala privacy notice for the proposed handling of Google identity information and research records. The notice requires review before live Google Sign-In is launched.
